A half-day guided tour would be a perfect introduction to Cusco, running every day (from Monday to Sunday). It includes all the main sites in the centre of the town such as the main Cathedral and Qorikancha as well as the four main ruins on the outskirts of Cusco (Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puka Pukara). This tour includes transportation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The pick-up from the reception of your hostel will be between 13:00 to 13:15 hrs. First, you will walk to the Cathedral and visit it for around 45 minutes. Afterwards, the Qorikancha Inca Temple is the next stop and we’re gonna spend another 45 minutes to visit it.
Before sunset, you will visit the archeological park and fort of Sacsayhuaman, K’enko funerary centre, Pucapucara, a fort formed by terraces, passages, towers, vaults and platforms, and Tambomachay, known as the Inca bath and made up of four walls inter-connected by small steps. Finally, you will return back to Cusco at approximately 06:30 p.m, drop-off point at the Main Square.
